Certificates on housing improvement were handed by APPM to young families working at the mill

On July 2, 2019 JSC “Arkhangelsk PPM” held a ceremony of handing the certificates on housing improvement to young families working at the mill. Sixteen families got a chance to buy their own home or improve conditions of living.

Financing of the certificates was received from local, regional and federal budget in framework of implementation of the federal program of housing provision for young families. APPM part this year amounts to 3.2 mln rubles.

Housing to a Young Family program is a social noncommercial project of Arkhangelsk PPM, it was started in 2016 under the personal patronage of Vladimir Krupchak, board member of the mill.

The program is designated for APPM employees under the age of 35 who were recognized by municipal authorities being in need of better housing. Choice of a family is also affected by professional merits of the applicants.

As it was noted earlier, in 2016 a young family became a participant of the Housing to a Young Family program, and received from APPM a certificate worth 337.4 thousand rubles. In 2017, the pilot project grew into a full-value program: 24 families received housing documents with total value about 4 mln rubles. In 2018, 23 families received certificates with total value 4.7 mln rubles.

Comments from Olga Savvina, administrative director of APPM: “Starting from 2016, 46 families have been living in their own apartments bought with support of the mill. This year, 16 more families will have a house-warming. Without question, this program promotes young and talented employees to get at toehold in Arkhangelsk PPM”.

Salary of Arkhangelsk PPM employees will be increased by 5% from July 1st

Pulp Mill Holding – a shareholder of Arkhangelsk PPM JSC – has decided to increase existing wage and salary rates by 5% from July 1, 2019 for workers, specialists, employees and managers of all mill’s departments.

The salary will be increased due to good results of APPM activities in the first half of this year. “The mill’s team fulfilled the production program, we appreciate its work in the field of occupational health and safety as well as successful implementation of the second stage of mill’s investment program”, – comments Vladimir Krupchak, a member of APPM BoD.

On May 22, 2019, Arkhbum JSC (part of the Austrian-German Group of Companies Pulp Mill Holding) launched a new high-tech plant for the production of corrugated board and corrugated packaging with a capacity of 188 mln m2 per year at industrial site Maslovskiy (Voronezh region, Novousmanskiy district).

The total investment amounted to 3.5 billion rubles.

The plant has the highest degree of automation at each stage of the production cycle. Transport systems, palletizers, packaging systems with automated feeding of pallets are represented by leading German and Korean companies. The plant has equipment from Italy (corrugator FOSBER SPA), France (BOBST processing line), USA (Marquip WardUnited processing line) and Japan (Mitsubishi processing line).

The plant is equipped with MES OMP system, which allows to automate the process of planning and distributing orders for production facilities.

It is planned to produce 130 mln m2 in 2019. The amount of revenue will be more than 4 billion rubles. By 2020, the Voronezh branch of Arkhbum plans to produce 188 mln m2. The amount of revenue will be more than 5 billion rubles.

The leading Russian agricultural holdings, the largest producers of dairy, confectionery, various beverages, etc are among the buyers of FSC-certified, eco-friendly corrugated packaging of Arkhbum plant in Voronezh.

The planned number of staff will be 300 people at the Arkhbum plant in Voronezh.

The average salary is 50 thousand rubles.

The payments to the budget and extra budgetary funds will amount to 90 million rubles in 2019.

Vladimir Krupchak, a member of the Board of Directors of Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill, is sure that the new plant of Arkhbum JSC in the Voronezh region, in addition to the existing facilities in the Moscow region, will be able to give a significant start for the development of the corrugated packaging division of Pulp Mill Holding as part of the corporate strategy of upstream integration and increase of products share of advanced processing in the structure of the holding’s revenue.

APPM has launched social projects competition “4D Social Measurement – Let’s Make Good Deeds-2019”

Under the patronage of Vladimir Krupchak, board member of JSC “Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill”, the company became the first between Russian pulp-and-paper enterprises to organize in 2017 an outstanding competition of social projects “40 Good Deeds on the Occasion of 40th Birthday of Novodvinsk”.

In 2018 APPM started the program on improvement of living conditions in Novodvinsk and left-bank municipalities of the Primorsky District “4D: Social Measurement – Let’s Make Good Deeds”.

Last year these projects entered into short-list of the competition “Corporate Charity Leaders of the North-West”: APPM experience was recognized as worth notice and replication, and its projects “40 Good Deeds on the Occasion of 40th Birthday of Novodvinsk” and “4D: Social Measurement – Let’s Make Good Deeds” were recognized as examples of good corporate business on a nationwide scale.

Affiliated company JSC “Sawmill 25” has invested 135 mln RUB into modernization of biofuel boiler house

As noted by Vladimir Krupchak, board member of “Titan” group of companies and JSC “Sawmill 25”, the plant began to produce pellets in 2008, as shareholders understood the importance of complete cycle of waste-free wood processing within vertically integrated system and the necessity of conversion to the most advanced technologies in heat- and electric-power industry.

“Long-term proven experience of JSC “Sawmill 25” in utilization of lumber waste as a raw material for power industry, specifically for boiler houses in Arkhangelsk region, allowed us to fully stop using charcoal and black oil, which minimized considerably air pollutant emissions” – summarized Vladimir Krupchak.
