Vladimir Krupchak: Arkhbum is a general partner for XV Berega Festival of TV Films and Programs

Arkhbum Tissue Group LLC (part of CG Pulp Mill Holding) acted as the general partner of the XV Berega Festival of TV Films and Programs, which was held in Tarus from August 13 to 16, 2019.

The Kaluga branch of All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK) and the administration of the Tarusskiy District under support of the Federal State Press and Mass Communications Agency and the VGTRK patronage arranged the event.

This year, more than 200 essays, stories, documentaries and special reports were submitted to the jury’s approval, which is almost two times more than in previous years. The amount of contestants increased up to 180, more than 50 domestic television companies and independent creative authors presented works at the festival.

The geography of the festival participants is very wide: Yakutia, Murmansk, the Far East, Transbaikal, Karelia, the North and South Caucasus, cities of central Russia. There were 34 works in the competition final. The winners in eight categories were alternately invited to the stage.

The main award was given to Elizaveta Tereshkina, a journalist of the St. Petersburg TRC, for the screen story of plot “The Vyborg Castle Fortress”.

The festival’s special award was given to the Kaluga State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company for the “Mashka Bear” storytelling. The award was presented by Maksim Domoratskiy, Head of the Sales and Marketing Department of Arkhbum Tissue Group LLC.

“Our plant is a new player on the economic map of the Kaluga region, so it was important for us to support this magnificent sociocultural project because the topic of human values, the search for new approaches is very close to each of us,” said Vladimir Krupchak, a member of the Board of Directors of Arkhangelsk PPM. “We are confident that the festival has a bright future and that we are on the right way”.

APPM has launched social projects competition “4D Social Measurement – Let’s Make Good Deeds-2019”

Under the patronage of Vladimir Krupchak, board member of JSC “Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill”, the company became the first between Russian pulp-and-paper enterprises to organize in 2017 an outstanding competition of social projects “40 Good Deeds on the Occasion of 40th Birthday of Novodvinsk”.

In 2018 APPM started the program on improvement of living conditions in Novodvinsk and left-bank municipalities of the Primorsky District “4D: Social Measurement – Let’s Make Good Deeds”.

Last year these projects entered into short-list of the competition “Corporate Charity Leaders of the North-West”: APPM experience was recognized as worth notice and replication, and its projects “40 Good Deeds on the Occasion of 40th Birthday of Novodvinsk” and “4D: Social Measurement – Let’s Make Good Deeds” were recognized as examples of good corporate business on a nationwide scale.

The Adviser to the investment activities of Pulp Mill Holding: Signing of loan agreements with UniCredit Group is an important step in the modernization program of APPM

Signing of two loan agreements between Pulp Mill Holding (Austria) and UniCredit Bank Austria AG for a total amount of more than 80 million euros is an important step in the modernization program of Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill.  Vladimir Krupchak, the Adviser to the investment activities of Pulp Mill Holding made such a comment on the financial transaction.

The relevant financial documents were signed on 29 June 2017 in Vienna (Austria) at the Board of Directors of JSC “Arkhangelsk PPM”.

The loans raised will be spent on financing of the technical re-equipment program of Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill during 2017-2018 years, including construction of a new evaporator plant and reconstruction of the Board machine No. 2. Both projects are an important part of the priority investment project in forest development “Reconstruction of Board Production” registered in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

It must be recalled that total investments of APPM up to 2020 will exceed 23,0 billion rubles. The mill is implementing the second stage of the priority investment project “Reconstruction of Board Production” included by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation into  the list of the priority projects for the  Russian economy, the cost of which is 8.8 billion rubles.

Vladimir Krupchak joined the Organizing Committee of the International Conference on Development of the Russian pulp and paper industry in Vienna

The investment policy advisor of Pulp Mill Holding, Vladimir Krupchak, joined the Organizing Committee on preparing and arrangement of the II the International Conference on Development of the Russian pulp and paper industry, which will be held in Vienna (Austria) from November 30 till December 1, 2016.

According to the organizers – the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the RF, the Union of Timber Manufacturers and Exporters of Russia and the Association of Specialists of the Pulp and Paper Industry (ASPPI) – the structure of the Organizing Committee included:  the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Sergey Katyrin, President of the Union of Timber Manufacturers and Exporters of Russia Miron Tatsyun, Director of the Department for the Development of Economic Sectors of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Alexander Maslennikov, Director of the Department of Chemical and Technological and Forestry Complex of the Ministry of Trade of the Russian Federation Vladimir Potapkin, the First Deputy Chairman – member of the Management Board of «Vnesheconombank» Andrey Sapelin, the Chairman of the Committee on Timber Complex, polygraph industry and packaging of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the RF Eugenie Tyurin, and other.

At the meeting on March 15, 2016 of the Organizing Committee it was decided to improve the program of the conference within a week, to develop the detailed plan of arrangements on its preparation and realization, to intensify media coverage of organization of the conference and the forum.

It is to be recalled that the Ist conference “Pulp and Paper Industry in Russia – New Reality, New Opportunities” was held from 8 till 9 December 2015 in Vienna (Austria).

The conference is a meeting point for representatives of business entities, authorities, potential investors, banking community, representatives of professional unions, specialists of forest and pulp and paper industry, producers of equipment and buyers of pulp and paper products and timber complex.
